About The Position

Runkle’s is now an entirely employee-owned company specializing in notary, tag, and title services. As fellow members of the local community, our goal is to build lifelong relationships with our customers. Position Experienced Insurance Agent Runkles is seeking an experienced, client-focused Insurance Agent to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who excels at building lasting relationships, advising clients on the right coverage, and driving both new business and retention. You’ll play a key role in supporting our community by delivering tailored insurance solutions while contributing to the continued growth of the agency.

Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license required
  • 3+ years of experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment
  • Proven track record of client retention and/or new business production
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management Serve as a trusted advisor to new and existing clients, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate coverage
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service
  • Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients remain properly protected as their needs evolve
  • Sales & Business Development Generate new business through referrals, networking, and community engagement
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across personal and/or commercial lines
  • Meet or exceed individual sales and retention goals
  • Policy & Account Management Quote, bind, and service policies across multiple carriers
  • Explain coverage options, exclusions, and pricing clearly to clients
  • Manage renewals, endorsements, and policy changes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Claims Support & Advocacy Assist clients through the claims process, providing guidance and ensuring timely resolution
  • Act as a liaison between clients and carriers to support positive outcomes
  • Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in agency systems
  • Ensure all activities meet state regulations and carrier guidelines
