About The Position
As an installer, you will install company products according to work orders, manufacturer instructions, and quality and safety guidelines. Products may include insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors and shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap, and other products sold by the company. The role requires daily travel to job sites and may involve local and out-of-town travel as needed. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18.
- A valid driver's license is required when operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling; good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity; and lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on job duties.
Responsibilities
- Review the daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with the products, tools, and equipment needed for the day.
- Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
- Safely unload and stage materials at the job site.
- Install company products according to work orders, manufacturer instructions, and quality and safety guidelines.
- Report safety, customer, or quality concerns.
- Perform warehouse-related duties as required.
- Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
