About The Position

LaRiviere, Inc. is seeking skilled heavy equipment operators for heavy civil work in the Boise and Caldwell, Idaho region. Operators use a variety of construction equipment, including loaders, excavators, rollers, dozers, bobcats, and water trucks, and assist with labor tasks when not operating equipment. The role requires safe, proficient operation in varied conditions, effective communication with ground personnel and other operators, and teamwork on job sites. Duties vary with weather and the time of season.

Requirements

At least 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate a variety of construction heavy equipment.
Reliable transportation to area job sites.
Strong work ethic and willingness to report to work on time.
Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in all weather conditions.
Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including frequent bending, climbing stairs or steps, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds (occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance), repeated pushing and pulling, simple grasping, and fine manipulation.

Nice To Haves

Five years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
CDL.

Responsibilities

Operate construction heavy equipment proficiently and safely in all types of conditions.
Communicate effectively with ground personnel and other operators using universal hand signals.
Assist with manual labor activities when necessary.
Arrive 15–20 minutes before the shift.
Complete a thorough equipment walk-around and daily checklist.
Attend and participate in regular safety meetings.
Work and communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Report safety concerns to the immediate supervisor.
Accurately report hours and job duties on daily timecards.
Keep equipment clean and maintain good housekeeping.
