The trainer delivers services according to company standards and works with dogs on basic obedience, behavior modification, and reactive or aggressive behaviors. The role includes client communication and follow-up, community representation and outreach, and collaboration with teammates to maintain consistent training quality. Completion of The Dog Wizard Academy Experienced Dog Trainer Track is required; the company covers 100% of training costs in exchange for a one-year employment commitment. Online training must be completed before hands-on training.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of balanced dog training experience.
• Completion of The Dog Wizard Academy Experienced Dog Trainer Track.
• Professionalism and outstanding customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for client relationships and sales.
• Positive, upbeat, motivated approach and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Lives in or is willing to relocate to the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
• Online training completed before hands-on training.
• One-year employment commitment in exchange for the company covering 100% of training costs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training services according to company standards.
• Conduct private lessons, group classes, and Board & Train programs.
• Identify training challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Communicate regularly with clients about training progress via phone, email, and social media updates.
• Provide lifetime graduate support and ongoing client follow-ups.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support retention.
• Represent the brand professionally in the community through events and partnerships.
• Support local outreach efforts and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent training quality.
• Train dogs ranging from basic obedience to behavior modification and reactive or aggressive behaviors.
