About The Position
Protiviti is looking for a Technology Audit & Advisory Experienced Consultant to join our growing team. As an Experienced Consultant, you’ll be provided excellent training and meaningful mentorship to deepen your understanding of business processes and build technical skills. You’ll conduct interviews, compile, and analyze data, and document findings. Through interaction with client and project team personnel, you’ll develop professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service. You’ll learn time and project management and take ownership of assignments. At Protiviti, Technology Audit & Advisory focuses on helping clients better manage risks associated with their use of technology, protecting and enhancing enterprise value. This includes innovation in identifying solutions to client problems related to technology, helping them to rethink how technology processes are managed by incorporating AI and automation. They also focus on technology enablement by incorporating analytics, AI, automation and other new tools and methods in the execution of audit work for our clients, enabling a deeper, broader, more efficient, and more insightful analysis of our clients’ technology risks. They support a broad set of potential certifications and related trainings for their team, equipping the technology audit organization to stay at the forefront of emerging risks and trends. Consultants in Technology Audit & Advisory work with clients to assess, identify risk, advise, and consult on different technology-related topics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or business-related field).
- 1+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or related field, either in professional services or industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
- Experience with or understanding of IT audit methodologies and developing necessary audit deliverables, including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
- Experience with or understanding of commonly used internal control frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, etc.
- Experience with or understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance, in particular the technology implications and requirements.
- Experience performing documentation of findings and summarizing recommendations.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutions a plus.
- Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar a plus.
- Exposure to and/or interest in the latest trends and developments in data and technology, including high-growth topics of cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, privacy, analytics, enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), disaster recovery, systems development methodologies etc.
- Exposure to and/or interest in analytics and technology enablement (automation, AI/ML etc.).
