About The Position

Protiviti is looking for a Technology Audit & Advisory Experienced Consultant to join their growing team. As an Experienced Consultant, you will receive excellent training and meaningful mentorship to deepen your understanding of business processes and build technical skills. You will conduct interviews, compile and analyze data, and document findings. Through interaction with clients and project team personnel, you will develop professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service. You will learn time and project management and take ownership of assignments. Technology Audit & Advisory focuses on helping clients better manage risks associated with their use of technology, protecting and enhancing enterprise value. This includes identifying solutions to client problems related to technology, helping them rethink how technology processes are managed by incorporating AI and automation, and enabling a deeper, broader, more efficient, and more insightful analysis of clients’ technology risks by incorporating analytics, AI, automation, and other new tools and methods in the execution of audit work. The firm supports a broad set of potential certifications and related trainings for its team, equipping the technology audit organization to stay at the forefront of emerging risks and trends. Consultants in Technology Audit & Advisory work with clients to assess, identify risk, advise, and consult on different technology-related topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or business-related field).
  • 1+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or related field, either in professional services or industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
  • Experience with or understanding of IT audit methodologies and developing necessary audit deliverables, including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
  • Experience with or understanding of commonly used internal control frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, etc.
  • Experience with or understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance, in particular the technology implications and requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutions a plus.
  • Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar a plus.
  • Exposure to and/or interest in the latest trends and developments in data and technology, including high-growth topics of cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, privacy, analytics, enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), disaster recovery, systems development methodologies etc.
  • Exposure to and/or interest in analytics and technology enablement (automation, AI/ML etc.).
