About The Position

Provide in-home assistance to a woman in Watertown, Wisconsin, helping her remain in her own home and have a say in who supports her. The schedule is 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Compensation is $19 per hour. Duties include assistance getting ready for bed, support with a non-invasive ventilator and bowel program, emptying a catheter bag, personal care, and light housekeeping. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, the Member is the legal employer; Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruiting and does not have authority to hire or dismiss the Direct Care Worker.

Requirements

• Have no allergies to cats.
• Do not use a cell phone during the shift except for emergencies.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Pass a background check before hire.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist the member with getting ready for bed.
• Provide support with a non-invasive ventilator.
• Assist with a bowel program.
• Empty the catheter bag.
• Provide personal care.
• Perform light housekeeping.
