Experienced Barista with the ability to serve coffee and espresso beverages in a consistent manner and according to recipes. Must have the ability to provide quality customer service and demonstrate a knowledge of coffee products, brew methods, equipment, and tea products. Responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention toward each customer. CORE TASKS Ensure customers are warmly received and welcomed and engaged in sincere and friendly conversation. Respond to questions/orders/concerns in a professional manner. Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for clues. Facilitate easy dialogue regarding product offerings with customers. Actively participate in training sessions to advance your coffee education. Craft beverages that adhere to the company’s quality standards. Communicates effectively with customers and co-workers Responds proactively to prevent negative customer service situations. Accurately rings sales orders into POS system and counts back change to the customers in a courteous and friendly manner Restocks retail shelves when necessary Routinely cleans the bar area (do not forget the steam wand), retail shelving, floors, windows, grinders, vacuums, and takes out the trash.
