Summary: The Barista at Sweetbay Coffee inside of Hotel Effie is responsible for crafting exceptional coffee and tea beverages while delivering outstanding customer service. The role requires a passion for coffee, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a barista, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized work environment, taking customer orders, preparing drinks, and managing daily inventory. Seasonal position.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas.
Provide exceptional guest service by taking orders, answering questions, and making drink recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment, and work areas.
Stock and maintain inventory of coffee supplies and ingredients.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process payments accurately.
Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring all health standards are met.
Work as part of a team to deliver consistent service during peak hours and special events.
Assist in opening and closing duties as needed.
