About The Position
Fayetteville Dodge Ram, part of Hudson Automotive Group, is seeking Automotive and Diesel Technicians for its high-volume service team in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The role offers annual income potential of $70,000–$120,000 for automotive technicians and flat-rate pay over $50 per hour for diesel technicians. Technicians work in a climate-controlled facility and may receive a yearly technician retention bonus. PTO begins accruing on the first day of employment. The schedule is described as “Open to Closing.” Hudson Automotive Group is a third-generation, family-owned and operated company founded in 1948. It has more than 60 dealerships and over 4,500 employees across seven states, concentrated in the Southeast. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- 3–5 or more years of automotive technician experience.
- Customer-focused, self-motivated, competitive, and coachable.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background, motor vehicle record, and drug testing.

- Manufacturer experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors so customers are informed when additional service is needed.
- Estimate the time required for additional repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
