About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant at River Oaks Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Sales consultants represent the dealership and help deliver a positive customer experience by understanding customers’ needs, presenting suitable vehicles, and maintaining relationships. The role offers incentive-based earning potential and opportunities for career growth within a large automotive dealership group.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of automotive sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic in a team environment.
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable local law and regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist dealership customers, answer questions, and help them select a vehicle that meets their needs.
• Follow up with customers in a timely manner and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Explain vehicle performance, applications, benefits, and optional equipment.
• Determine customer vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Deliver vehicles and ensure customers understand operating features, warranties, and paperwork.
• Stay informed about incoming inventory, vehicle features, accessories, and customer benefits.
• Introduce customers to service department personnel and explain the dealership’s service and maintenance offerings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
