About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant at River Oaks Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Sales consultants represent the dealership and help deliver a positive customer experience in a fast-paced industry. The group is affiliated with more than 25 vehicle brands and has over 50 dealerships across seven states, with more than 3,500 employees nationwide. The role offers incentive-based earning potential and opportunities for career growth into Finance Manager, Sales Manager, or General Sales Manager positions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of automotive sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic in a team environment.
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law and regulations.
• At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist dealership customers, answer questions, and help them select a vehicle suited to their needs.
• Follow up with customers in a timely manner and maintain strong relationships.
• Explain vehicle performance, applications, benefits, and optional equipment; identify customer needs by asking questions and listening.
• Deliver vehicles and explain operating features, warranties, and paperwork to customers.
• Stay informed about incoming inventory, vehicle features, accessories, and customer benefits.
• Introduce customers to service department personnel and explain the service and maintenance available at the dealership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
