About The Position

Cummings Electrical is hiring Experienced Apprentice Electricians for its Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, Texas. The team designs and builds custom integrated modular systems, including e-houses, electrical skids, HACs, and UL 508A panels for projects in data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and other sectors. The role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to safer jobsites, faster project timelines, and high-quality solutions.

Requirements

Active TDLR Apprentice License.
At least 3 years of apprentice electrician experience in commercial or industrial settings.
Reliable transportation.
Skill in a construction or manufacturing environment.
Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties.

Responsibilities

Read detailed mechanical blueprints and layout/on-line drawings.
Determine the size of pull boxes or junction boxes based on the wires inside or passing through them.
Size wire based on amperage and voltage drop.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, including equipment, devices, and conduit wires.
Bend and install conduit measuring 3 inches or greater.
Terminate wiring inside transformers, switchgears, generators, UPS units, lighting control panels, and control panels.
