About The Position

The Expense Management Intern will support Sun Life U.S.’s Expense Management team in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analytics, and process improvement initiatives. The role will also help advance the team’s adoption of AI and Microsoft Copilot capabilities. Working with finance professionals, the intern will analyze expense trends, develop dashboards and reports, automate manual processes, and identify ways to improve efficiency and decision-making through AI-driven solutions. The position is intended for a student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, technology-forward, and eager to apply emerging AI capabilities to deliver business value while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic finance organization.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot or generative AI tools.
• Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis.
