About The Position

Prime Source Expense Experts is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Expense Associate (Hunter) to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a passion for prospecting, building relationships, and generating new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment. The Expense Associate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new clients through proactive outreach efforts including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, trade show attendance, site visits, and other business development activities. The ideal candidate thrives on hunting for new opportunities, possesses excellent communication skills, and is motivated by achieving and exceeding sales goals. Prime Source Expense Experts, a Buyers Edge Platform brand, is a national GPO consulting firm helping post-acute care facilities — skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehabilitation centers, reduce costs and optimize vendor relationships across every operational category. We are growing rapidly and building out a dedicated Purchasing Department to match the scale of our member network. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • 2–3 years of experience in one or more of the following: B2B Sales, Healthcare sales, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Procurement and sourcing, Business development
  • Proven track record of prospecting and generating new business opportunities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into healthcare organizations, senior care providers, nursing homes, or assisted living communities.
  • Familiarity with purchasing, procurement, expense management, or vendor contracting.
  • Experience attending trade shows and conducting face-to-face sales meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and social selling
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective healthcare clients
  • Schedule and conduct introductory meetings, presentations, and discovery calls with decision-makers
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, networking events, and association meetings to develop new business relationships
  • Conduct in-person facility visits and meetings with prospective customers
  • Deliver compelling presentations demonstrating Prime Source’s value proposition and savings opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for prospective clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales activity and revenue goals
  • Stay informed on industry trends, purchasing strategies, GPOs, procurement practices, and healthcare market dynamics
  • Follow established sales processes and maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management
