About The Position

Prime Source is seeking an experienced Expense Advisor to support the growth and retention of our client base. This role is responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying opportunities to increase client engagement and savings, and successfully onboarding and developing new business opportunities generated by our lead generation team. The ideal candidate is a consultative relationship builder who can effectively manage a portfolio of accounts while driving revenue growth through proactive client engagement, strategic account planning, and execution of expense management initiatives. Prime Source Expense Experts, a Buyers Edge Platform brand, is a national GPO consulting firm helping post-acute care facilities — skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehabilitation centers, reduce costs and optimize vendor relationships across every operational category. We are growing rapidly and building out a dedicated Purchasing Department to match the scale of our member network. Buyers Edge Platform is a leading digital procurement network and solutions provider for the foodservice industry, delivering savings, insights, and technology that help operators, distributors, and manufacturers succeed. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, customer success, business development, healthcare services, group purchasing, expense management, consulting, or a related field
  • Proven ability to manage and grow existing customer relationships
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and follow-up abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer organizations
  • Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for additional savings, operational efficiencies, and new service offerings
  • Successfully onboard and transition new clients generated by the lead generation team. Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendor partners to implement solutions and resolve customer concerns
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Prime Source’s service offerings and partner network
  • Track account activity, opportunities, and client interactions within CRM systems.
  • Support contract renewals and assist with customer retention initiatives
  • Monitor client spend trends and provide strategic recommendations to improve financial performance
  • Represent Prime Source professionally during customer meetings, presentations, and industry events
