About The Position

The Expeditor joins the Food and Beverage team at Nobu, Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui. The role supports dining outlet operations by coordinating food orders between servers and the kitchen, monitoring ticket times, and ensuring dishes are properly garnished and meet quality and presentation standards before service. The Expeditor also maintains a clean, organized, and stocked expediting station, collaborates with servers and culinary staff, proactively addresses order issues to support guest satisfaction, and follows health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between servers and the kitchen to ensure guest food orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Track ticket times and follow up with the culinary team to support prompt delivery of food orders.
• Garnish and inspect dishes before serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.
• Keep the expediting station clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Partner with servers, culinary staff, and other departments to support efficient service and a positive, productive work environment.
• Proactively address order issues to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold service excellence.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
