Requirements

  • Experience in fine-dining or upscale-casual restaurants is REQUIRED.
  • Previous back-of-house or service experience is highly preferred, particularly in a high-end, Italian-focused restaurant environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail to ensure food is served to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and temperature.
  • Clear communication skills to facilitate effective interactions between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, upscale setting while maintaining composure and focus.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to providing excellent service and contributing to a positive working environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food.
  • Professional demeanor with a passion for providing guests with an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guests, maintaining the highest standards of presentation and quality.
  • Act as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring clear communication of food orders, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area by promptly clearing tables and resetting for the next guests.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before delivery to ensure it meets Max a Mia’s high standards.
  • Assist kitchen and wait staff in ensuring a smooth, seamless service during busy periods.
  • Contribute to the overall guest experience by working efficiently and with a positive attitude under pressure.
