About The Position

The Busser is responsible for supporting front-of-house operations by assisting servers, delivering food, maintaining dining areas, and ensuring guests receive attentive and seamless service. This position plays an important role in upholding the elevated dining standards and guest experience associated with the Roof @ theWit hotel.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
  • TIPS and ServSafe certifications required
  • Fluent English communication skills with a professional and polished demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to set and clear tables efficiently without breakage
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Must maintain professional appearance and proper uniform standards at all times
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts in a 24/7 hotel environment
  • Must be available on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays
  • Regular and reliable attendance required

Responsibilities

  • Assist servers with food and beverage service in a professional, organized, and timely manner
  • Run food and carry trays safely and efficiently throughout the restaurant
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables according to restaurant standards
  • Provide water and beverage service while maintaining attentive table service
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and health code standards throughout the outlet
  • Support a collaborative “Whatever It Takes” team culture
  • Deliver exceptional guest service aligned with Four Diamond hospitality standards
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in a high-volume restaurant environment
