About The Position

Urban Egg is seeking an experienced and motivated Expeditor to help ensure smooth, efficient restaurant operations. The Expeditor is the central communication hub between the kitchen and servers and plays a key role in delivering excellent service. This is a tipped position with an hourly wage. The role involves checking prepared orders, coordinating meal timing and delivery, and responding promptly and positively to guest requests.

Requirements

Prior kitchen experience in a full-service restaurant.
Strong communication skills.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Daytime and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Ensure kitchen orders have been properly prepared.
Add necessary garnishes or condiments to dishes.
Follow company policy when handling guest preferences and allergies.
Communicate with the kitchen about meal timing.
Communicate with servers during guests’ visits.
Keep orders flowing and ensure they are delivered to tables as quickly as possible.
Monitor food safety and the temperature of food delivered to guests.
Manage guest requests at the table quickly and with a smile.
