About The Position

K&A Power Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Expeditor, Materials Specialist to join their team in Orange, Connecticut. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects within the energy and utility sectors as part of a dynamic, people-focused team where contributions are valued. The position involves supporting Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Commissioning Managers in sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking and expediting, and managing the manufacturing and delivery process of materials and equipment to storage areas and project sites.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Equivalent Experience
• Five (5) years of experience in Materials Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
• Must be a Maine resident

Nice To Haves

• Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
• SAP Experience Preferred
• Experience in Utility Industry Preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports Project Manager, Construction Manager and Commission Manager sourcing materials
• Issuing purchase orders
• Tracking, expediting, managing materials and equipment manufacturing process and delivery to storage areas and project site
• Verification of Bill of Materials
• Supplier Identification
• Commodity Lead Time Analysis
