About The Position

Upstream Hospitality Group is seeking a fast, team-driven Expeditor/Food Runner who brings positive energy to every shift. The role supports a high-energy restaurant environment by ensuring food is delivered promptly and accurately, confirming dishes meet presentation and preparation standards, and coordinating guest requests and feedback with the service team. The employee helps front-of-house and back-of-house teams, follows food safety and workplace policies, and assists with other duties as needed to keep restaurant operations running smoothly. Requirements

Ability to carry multiple plates, trays, and beverages safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Comfort working nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
Positive attitude and commitment to being a reliable team member.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely, accurate, and professional delivery of food to guests.
Confirm each dish meets presentation and preparation standards before leaving the kitchen.
Review orders for special instructions, dietary needs, and modifications.
Communicate guest feedback, concerns, and additional requests to servers and managers.
Greet guests warmly and contribute to an outstanding dining experience.
Support front-of-house and back-of-house teams by staying proactive and engaged.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace policies.
Assist with additional duties to support the team and maintain smooth restaurant operations.
