About The Position

Brookside Country Club is a private club known for exceptional dining experiences and top-tier
service. We take pride in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced elegant, yet casual
environment. We are currently seeking a Food Runner/Expediter to join our front/back of
house team and ensure smooth, timely service to our members and guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience (1 yr.) as a food runner, expediter, or in a fast-paced restaurant/kitchen setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and a passion for great food and service.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate efficiently with chefs, servers, and other team members to keep service running smoothly.
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure food is delivered promptly and correctly.
• Garnish and finalize plated dishes before they leave the kitchen.
• Ensure orders are complete, correct, and meet presentation standards.
• Assist with stocking and maintaining an organized expo line.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo area.
• Handle special requests and dietary accommodations with attention to detail.
• Assist the back/front of house, with any prep work and/or side work needed for the day.
