About The Position

The Accelerated Schools is seeking an Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) Clerk for a grant-funded position. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the ELOP program by performing clerical, communication, and record-keeping duties. The ELOP Clerk plays a critical part in maintaining efficient administrative processes, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating strong communication between families, program staff, and school leadership. The position serves as a consistent, welcoming presence for the ELOP team and families, working under the direction of the ELOP Coordinator. Employment is contingent upon continued grant funding.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent (required)
  • Ability to read/write/speak in Spanish.
  • Must have a courteous and positive attitude.
  • Maintain strong verbal/written communication amongst staff and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and reception services for the ELOP program, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries.
  • Collect, review, and file ELOP program applications, student rosters, and attendance records.
  • Support preparation of program materials, including flyers, bulletins, and parent communications.
  • Maintain accurate and organized program records including student enrollment, attendance logs, and sign-in/out sheets.
  • Assist in tracking student performance documentation and staff activity logs.
  • Serve as a liaison between families and ELOP staff by responding to parent inquiries and ensuring clear communication regarding pick-up, schedule, and program policies.
  • Notify site administrators and program leaders of any urgent concerns or student issues.
  • Coordinate scheduling of parent meetings, ELOP trainings, and other events.
  • Maintain and update calendars, announcements, and staff communications for ELOP activities.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of purchase orders and expense records aligned with ELOP program operations.
  • Monitor supply inventories for ELOP activities and support ordering of materials as directed.
  • Provide logistical and clerical support for before-school, after-school, intersession, and summer sessions.
  • Support the Director of Operations and ELOP Coordinator with additional clerical duties, data entry, and compliance documentation as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
