About The Position

Danville Pediatric Dentistry & Harrodsburg Kids Dentistry is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to support its pediatric dental offices in Danville and Harrodsburg, Kentucky. The role involves helping create positive dental experiences for children in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The practice describes its offices as energetic, collaborative, and patient-focused, with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:50 AM to 4:05 PM, and every fourth Friday, 7:50 AM to 1:05 PM. The practice describes this as a mostly four-day work week. Pay is $16–$20 per hour, based on pediatric dental experience. Quarterly attendance and revenue bonuses and holiday bonuses are offered; uniforms are provided. Requirements

• Required certifications: X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, CPR, and Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attendance and ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to work well with children and communicate effectively.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Attributes sought include being fun, motivated, child-friendly, cooperative, communicative, and energetic.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Pediatric dental experience, which is considered when determining pay.

Responsibilities

• Assist chairside with expanded duties.
• Perform x-rays and coronal polishing.
• Support the pediatric dental offices with various tasks.
