About The Position
Cody Dental Group is seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join its established family dental practice. The role is full-time, scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with the option to work Mondays during the same hours. The practice describes a fast-paced, supportive team environment serving the Denver community.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant.
- Active CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
- X-ray certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Dental Assistant certification preferred.
- EDDA certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review and update patients’ health histories thoroughly.
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies for each operatory.
- Sterilize instruments according to OSHA regulations.
- Assist the dentist chairside with four-handed dentistry.
- Place fillings, pack cord, and seat temporary crowns.
- Assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
