About The Position

Provides safe and effective care for a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients. The role collaborates with exercise physiologists, physicians, technicians, nurses, allied health practitioners, and volunteers. This is a PRN opportunity with Medical City Decatur, part of HCA Healthcare.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Cardiac Rehab, or Health Fitness.
• At least 300 hours in a clinical internship and a background in exercise physiology.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Nice To Haves

• Certification from ACSM, ACE, and/or AHFS is preferred.
