About The Position

Evaluates cardiac patients and plans and implements a cardiac rehabilitation program. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• A 12-week internship in cardiac rehabilitation.
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA upon hire; must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the role.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of experience with exercise prescription in a clinical setting.
• American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification.
