Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science
• Less than 2 years of experience
• No supervisor experience
• ACSM/ACE/NSCA/NASM certification
• Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Physical Science
• Previous experience with special populations or cardiac rehab

Responsibilities

• Creates and implements exercise programs for cardiac rehabilitation and wellness participants.
• Performs professional and program development. Content includes but is not limited to strength conditioning, coordination, agility, core stabilization, weight management/weight loss, and lifestyle changes.
• Ensures safe and appropriate exercise programs through design, implementation and management of the exercise programs to meet client needs
• Provides and documents education and training to clients, family, staff and others directed toward achieving and ensuring optimal outcome viewed by the client.
• Ensures program growth and development to continue to meet client's needs and expectations.
