Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Bachelors degree required.

Nice To Haves

Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred.
Masters degree preferred.
Bachelors in Exercise Physiology
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Experience in Cardiac Stress Testing and Nuclear Cardiac Stress Testing.

Responsibilities

Implement and supervise patient physical exercise programs, including the planning and teaching of therapy based on test data, health status, and medications.
Provide comprehensive testing and assessment both before and after rehabilitation to evaluate progress and clinical outcomes.
Monitor patient responses to exercise, recognizing contraindications or abnormal reactions, and revising plans or ceasing activity as required.
Deliver educational information and classes to patients, peers, and the community, including public speaking and professional referrals.
Manage operational tasks such as equipment maintenance, record-keeping, scheduling, and providing department oversight in the manager’s absence.
