About The Position

The EVP of Digital Transformation will serve as FCA's senior technology leader, responsible for developing and executing an enterprise-wide technology strategy that aligns with FCA's global mission and vision. The EVP of Digital Transformation will oversee the architecture, development, and integration of digital tools and infrastructure that support ministry operations, donor engagement, global communications, discipleship platforms, and organizational scalability. This role requires a faith-driven, innovative leader who can steward both technology and people well -- transforming how FCA leverages information systems, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, data intelligence, and mobile/digital platforms to accelerate Kingdom impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT leadership
  • At least 5 years in a senior executive role (CIO, CTO, VP of Technology)
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide digital transformation and technology innovation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
  • Excellent managerial skills.
  • Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture and IT operations
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
  • Demonstrated expertise in CRM, CMS, ERP, data analytics, and integration platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in nonprofit, global ministry, education, or mission-driven organizations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the long-term information technology strategy, ensuring alignment with FCA's mission, ministry priorities, and strategic plan.
  • Guide the digital transformation of FCA's systems to support global growth, field ministry operations, and donor engagement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and assess opportunities for new technology that can increase ministry reach and efficiency.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the President/CEO and Executive Leadership Team on all technology-related matters.
  • Oversee the management, maintenance, and security of FCA's core technology infrastructure (networks, servers, endpoints, cloud services).
  • Implement and manage scalable and sustainable IT solutions to support local, regional, and international ministry operations.
  • Standardize and streamline internal systems (e.g., CRM, HRIS, financial platforms) and ensure cross-departmental integration and collaboration.
  • Ensure uptime, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for all critical systems.
  • Develop and maintain FCA's digital ecosystem, including web platforms, mobile apps, online training/discipleship tools, and communication platforms.
  • Collaborate with ministry teams to build user-friendly tools for coaches, athletes, volunteers, and staff.
  • Support the deployment of technologies that enhance virtual ministry delivery, training, and global discipleship.
  • Lead the development of a unified data strategy to enable data-informed decision-making across all levels of FCA.
  • Implement systems and tools for tracking ministry engagement, program outcomes, supporter impact, and operational performance.
  • Ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce FCA's cybersecurity framework, policies, and controls.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration testing, and employee training programs.
  • Ensure secure handling of all donor, financial, and personally identifiable information across FCA systems globally.
  • Build, lead, and disciple a Christ-centered, high-performing IT team that exemplifies FCA's culture and values.
  • Provide vision, mentorship, and development opportunities to technical staff at all levels.
  • Promote servant leadership, spiritual accountability, and a commitment to excellence within the department.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, software providers, and cloud service partners.
  • Ensure third-party tools and services align with FCA's strategic goals and ministry values.
  • Agree with, and abide by, FCA's Christian Community Statement.
  • Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
  • Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
  • Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times.
