This role involves leading a team of consultants in Apparel & Accessories, Beauty, and Electronics, ensuring product availability, and maintaining compelling visual merchandising. The position focuses on guest experience while balancing operational tasks such as pulling, filling, pricing, setting, staging, and maintaining the sales floor and backroom. Target aims to provide meaningful experiences that help team members build skills for a career. This role offers knowledge in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (including sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions), and experience in setting and planning monthly/quarterly workloads. It also involves managing multiple specialty businesses, understanding competitors, managing hourly team members and leaders, and developing business-specific strategies and goals. Skills in recruiting, selecting, and talent management are also key.
