About The Position

MGT Insurance is seeking a resourceful, hands-on operator to support its leaders and manage office operations and employee experience. This role involves direct ownership of the CEOs' calendars, travel, and meeting logistics, as well as partnering with the Head of People on workplace operations, employee-facing IT, and People initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is willing to contribute wherever needed, from process improvement to logistical tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting senior executives, including complex scheduling, travel, and confidential matters.
  • Experience in workplace operations, office management, or employee experience within a fast-paced startup or another environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Strong organization, judgment, communication, and follow-through.
  • A systems-thinking approach: you understand the broader goal, spot dependencies and gaps, and turn incomplete direction into thoughtful action.
  • Comfort coordinating employee technology needs and working with vendors and technical partners.
  • Practical experience with AI and workplace tools, and curiosity about better ways to work.
  • A service mindset and flexible approach: you take ownership, handle the details, and step in wherever help is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars, travel, expenses, and meeting logistics for both CEOs, with additional support for other leaders as needed.
  • Anticipate needs, navigate shifting priorities, and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Keep MGT's San Francisco, Madison, and Denver offices running smoothly by managing facilities, vendors, supplies, budgets, and everyday employee needs.
  • Plan events, offsites, celebrations, and recognition activities.
  • Manage the company's swag store.
  • Ensure MGT's workplaces are welcoming and productive.
  • Own equipment ordering, setup, inventory, and returns for employee IT.
  • Coordinate access and troubleshooting with IT partners, and follow requests through resolution.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support employee communications, questions, and program logistics in partnership with the Head of People.
  • Connect the dots across leaders, teams, and offices to anticipate needs and address underlying issues.
  • Build repeatable solutions using AI and automation.
  • Take ownership of new projects and unexpected needs as the business evolves.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range is $120,000 - $160,000
