Executive Sous Chef - The Kimpton Cottonwood

The Cottonwood HotelOmaha, NE
Onsite

About The Position

At Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel, we’re looking for an Executive Sous Chef who’s ready to jump into a fast-paced, creative culinary environment and help lead one of Omaha’s most exciting hotel food & beverage programs. From the energy of The Committee Chophouse to brunch and afternoon Tea Service in the Orleans Room, large-scale banquet events, seasonal activations, our food truck, and everything in between, no two days look the same here. Working closely with the Executive Restaurant Chef, you’ll help oversee a talented culinary team across multiple outlets while driving quality, consistency, creativity, and culture in the kitchen. This role is hands-on and leadership focused. Coaching cooks, supporting stewarding operations, managing inventory and ordering, helping develop menus, controlling costs, and ensuring every plate leaving the kitchen reflects the standards we’re known for. More than anything, this is a chance to be part of a strong, collaborative team that genuinely loves what they do. We’re proud of the reputation we’ve built in the community and the experiences we create for our guests — whether it’s an intimate dinner at The Committee Chophouse, weekend brunch and Tea Service in the Orleans Room, a high-energy banquet event, or a creative outdoor activation. If you’re passionate about hospitality, excited by variety, and motivated by the opportunity to help shape memorable culinary experiences, we’d love to meet you.
