We are building a specialized search function focused on the hires that matter most and are hardest to make. This includes executive roles, as well as positions that are uniquely important, unusually difficult to fill, or critical to the company’s trajectory. One search may be for a senior engineering leader; the next could be for a world-class brand designer, researcher, or another exceptional individual contributor. You will operate like an embedded retained search partner, working directly with the CEO and senior leaders to build our organization. Sometimes you will own searches end-to-end, other times you will lead our work with external search firms, setting search strategy, calibrating candidates, and ensuring exceptional outcomes. You will also build long-term knowledge of key talent markets, develop relationships with exceptional people long before we have an opening, and help shape the leadership and capabilities we’ll need as the company scales. This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to “act like an owner” and commit yourself to Forus’s success.
