About The Position

Critical Fit Recruiting is experiencing significant growth, with record placements and expanding client relationships. We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to take ownership of search processes, client engagement, and candidate experience. This role requires proactive engagement, including phone calls and in-depth technical role understanding, to serve as a trusted partner to candidates and hiring managers.

Requirements

3–7+ years of agency recruiting experience (or hybrid in-house/agency)
Strong experience with cold calling and outbound outreach
Technical aptitude — comfortable speaking to roles in engineering, chemicals, tech, or similar industries
Comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline
Strong communicator — written and verbal
Entrepreneurial mindset — sees opportunity and runs toward it

Responsibilities

Conduct outbound recruiting (calls, emails, messaging) to technical and niche professionals
Translate client intake calls into compelling outreach campaigns
Present and pitch roles clearly and persuasively to candidates
Identify, screen, and qualify candidates for client needs
Build and nurture relationships with both clients and candidates
Represent our firm’s brand with clarity, energy, and professionalism
Help develop business and generate new client leads (Optional, but valued)
