Newly hired Protectors in Colorado earn at least $64,000 in base earnings during their first year. First-year earnings may reach $77,000 based on relevant prior experience, performance at the GDBA Training Academy, and promotion opportunities. The role requires completion of a 12-day introductory Essential Protector Skills (EPS) Training Academy in San Antonio, Texas, along with required physical readiness, swimming, drug and nicotine-free status, background screening, and appropriate state firearm and security licensing.
