The Executive Producer will lead the agency's production function, overseeing projects from concept through final delivery. This role involves developing production strategies that align creative vision with budget, schedule, and operational needs, and assigning internal and external producers based on project scope, complexity, and expertise. The Executive Producer will continuously improve production workflows, processes, and best practices to support a growing agency. This position requires partnering with Creative, Strategy, Account Services, and Project Management during concept development to assess production approaches, budgets, and feasibility, as well as developing production schedules, scopes of work, and cost estimates. The role involves managing all phases of production, including pre-production, production, post-production, and project closeout, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet the agency's standards for creative excellence. Proactive identification of risks and development of solutions before they impact project delivery is crucial. The Executive Producer will build and maintain strong relationships with directors, photographers, production companies, editors, animators, music partners, sound designers, post-production facilities, and freelance production talent. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts, scopes, and pricing, and partnering with Account Services to develop production estimates and manage budget revisions. Reviewing bids, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring responsible stewardship of client budgets are key responsibilities. Maintaining accurate production documentation, financial records, licensing information, and final project assets is also required. In terms of team leadership, the Executive Producer will mentor and support producers while fostering a collaborative, solutions-oriented production culture. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and developing production talent as the agency grows, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities, and promoting collaboration across departments for seamless project execution. The role also involves serving as a trusted production advisor to clients, helping them navigate production decisions with confidence and transparency, communicating proactively with clients and internal teams regarding timelines, budgets, creative solutions, and project updates, and working closely with procurement teams and client stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual and production requirements. Finally, the Executive Producer will stay current on emerging production techniques, technologies, creative talent, and industry trends, continuously expand the agency's network of production partners and creative collaborators, and identify innovative production approaches that improve efficiency while elevating creative quality.
