About The Position

This role involves managing a portfolio of 25-30+ clients, typically CISOs and Leaders of Cybersecurity from global Fortune 1000 BFSI organizations and large high-tech industries. As an Executive Partner, you will deliver value through regular briefings, on-site and virtual workshops, roundtables, webinars, and by attending relevant Gartner events. Leveraging your prior experience in similar roles, along with Gartner's resources and research, you will coach and mentor clients on critical initiatives and obstacles within the Security Risk Management space. Collaboration with internal Gartner teams such as Sales, Analysts, Client Managers, and peers is essential. This client-facing position demands a high level of executive presence, adaptability, trust-building, and value delivery, along with strong communication, diplomacy, coaching, and presentation skills. The role is responsible for member retention and contributing to regional growth by supporting Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account plan development, and value demonstration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 15+ years of experience in executive security leadership roles, including CISO, Security Practice Leader, or equivalent, preferably within BFSI organizations.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling enterprise security programs, operations, teams, and capabilities.
  • Experience in executive-level consulting, sales, or client-facing leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in security strategy, risk management, and aligning cybersecurity initiatives to business objectives.
  • Hands-on experience with modern security technologies and practices, including SIEM, IAM, threat and vulnerability management, endpoint, network and cloud security, application/product security, and AI security.
  • Demonstrated success establishing security governance, metrics, board-level reporting, and vendor management programs.
  • Ability to articulate and demonstrate the business value of cybersecurity to executive and board audiences.

  • Prior consulting experience with a large consulting firm preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
