About The Position

The Executive Meetings Manager at Horseshoe Bay Resort is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of small-group events, from initial contact to final execution. This role serves as the primary point of contact for social and corporate groups, ensuring that all event details align with the resort's standards of luxury and hospitality. The position involves driving revenue, negotiating contracts, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with various resort departments to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Hospitality or 2-5 years of equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and spirits.
  • Ability to work full-time (40+ hours) with flexibility for evenings and weekends as client needs dictate.
  • Ability to walk the resort for site tours, ascend/descend stairs, and lift to 15 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the US.
  • Neat and pleasant overall appearance with a commitment to luxury dress standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Delphi is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Delphi.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to social group opportunities, ensuring bookings meet F&B minimums and revenue goals.
  • Negotiate and secure contracts, managing account files meticulously.
  • Conduct property site inspections and presentations for potential clients.
  • Detail all aspects of events, including Food & Beverage, AV needs, and room sets, offering creative suggestions.
  • Create group resumes and communicate with all resort departments to ensure flawless execution of client visions.
  • Attend member events to network, build rapport, and develop future leads.
