About The Position

The Executive Meeting Manager will work with clients planning meetings, events, and group stays. This role involves helping clients find the right solutions, coordinating important details, and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. It is an opportunity for someone with experience in hotel sales, catering, events, or group coordination to take on more client responsibility, strengthen sales skills, and grow their hospitality career within the shared Sales and Event Management team representing The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa and Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel.

Requirements

Strong hospitality foundation who is ready to learn, grow, and take on greater responsibility.
Experience in hotel sales, catering, events, group coordination, or a related hospitality role.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through with the ability to keep multiple clients and deadlines moving.
Confidence communicating professionally with clients by phone, email, and in person.
An interest in sales, relationship building, and growing business, along with a willingness to work toward individual goals.
A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn the systems, processes, and details behind successful hotel meetings and events.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Marriott, full-service hotels, CI/TY, Delphi, Amadeus, BEOs, or hotel sales and catering systems is helpful—but not required.

Responsibilities

Work with clients from inquiry through planning, helping coordinate room blocks, meeting space, food and beverage, audiovisual needs, and other event details.
Develop group and catering business by responding to opportunities, preparing proposals, assisting with contracts, following up with clients, and contributing toward sales and revenue goals.
Build strong client relationships through responsive communication, thoughtful recommendations, site inspections, and consistent follow-up.
Help clients get more from their event by understanding their needs and identifying appropriate services and upsell opportunities.
Keep the details organized by maintaining accurate client information, event documents, correspondence, deadlines, and hotel sales systems.
Work closely with both hotel teams to ensure booked business is communicated effectively to each department involved in the execution.
