About The Position

The Radisson Blu Mall of America is seeking an Executive Lounge Attendant/Host to provide a superior guest service experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment. This role is responsible for preparing beverages, ensuring the Executive Class Lounge is prepared for service, greeting guests, answering phone calls, managing food and beverage presentation, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a 100% guest satisfaction experience through genuine hospitality and exceeding expectations. The position requires adherence to legal standards for alcohol service and maintaining positive inter-departmental relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience in an upscale restaurant, guest service or hotel environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a team-spirited attitude and a willingness to help.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with department managers, team members and guests.
  • Ability to retain and give general hotel information.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

  • Must present documents verifying identity and legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Satisfactory completion of a background check and E-Verify.

Responsibilities

  • Providing guests with a courteous, efficient, and inviting experience to the Executive Class Lounge.
  • Completing the opening checklist to ensure the Executive Class Lounge is prepared for service.
  • Warmly and graciously greeting all guests upon arrival.
  • Answering incoming phone calls to the Executive Class Lounge.
  • Responsible for the set up and breakdown of all Executive Class Lounge food and beverage presentation.
  • Alerting the kitchen if food/beverage needs to be replenished and promptly refilling food/beverage items.
  • Completing food and beverage requisitions for the next day’s delivery.
  • Restocking, refilling, clearing counters and tables, washing dishes, and vacuuming the lounge at the end of every shift.
  • Maintaining a positive inter-departmental relationship through the hotel and with outside vendors.
  • Abiding by legal standards and alcohol training guidelines for alcohol service to guests.
  • Serving each guest on a one-to-one basis with utmost courtesy.
  • Inspecting and maintaining overall cleanliness and appearance of The Lounge, including temperature, lighting, and music.
  • Quickly clearing dirty table settings and sanitizing for the next seating.
  • Maintaining a sanitary and safe work environment for guests.
  • Creating 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Giving personal attention, taking personal responsibility, and using teamwork when providing guest service.
  • Listening, apologizing with empathy, finding a solution, and following through when resolving guest problems.
  • Providing Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.
  • Assuming the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and using best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction.
  • Performing other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
  • Performing other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guests.
