About The Position

Under the supervision of the Hotel Director, the Executive Housekeeper oversees the administration of all housekeeping and Laundry operations while providing a high level of service for all internal and external guests.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High school diploma or its equivalency required.
  • Must have basic mathematical skills necessary for conducting inventories.
  • Possess proven leadership ability to provide general guidelines to subordinate personnel and direction toward short-term developmental goals.
  • Must perform duties while utilizing discretion and respecting the privacy of guests.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, other staff and customers.
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and other staff.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • At least two (2) year of Hotel Housekeeping or related experience preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and ensures adherence to established budgets.
  • Assist in preparing and investigates/resolves discrepancies in operating budgets.
  • Perform daily inspection of rooms ensuring maximum efficiency, proper policies and service standards.
  • Investigates and resolves employee and/or guest situations.
  • Maintain and implement departmental procedures. Ensure strict adherence to all company and departmental policies and procedures. Adhere to Purchasing and HR compliance requirements.
  • Train, schedule, appraise and supervise all directly assigned personnel.
  • Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Maintains a professional work environment with staff.
  • Inform manager as necessary.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
  • Attend all necessary training meetings.
  • Assist in other projects, as directed.
