About The Position

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be dedicated to producing a high-quality Housekeeping product to ensure a seamless guest experience. You will oversee the daily Housekeeping and Laundry Operations, ensuring that cleaning standards are met to the highest quality. This role involves overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces meet or exceed Brand service standards. You will also train and develop housekeeping and laundry associates on cleanliness standards, technical skills, SOPs, and safety protocols. Daily inspection of assigned guest rooms and public areas is required to maintain standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will manage departmental budgets and expenses, including labor, supplies, equipment, and inventory controls, while monitoring and controlling costs related to these areas. The role includes recruiting, selecting, and retaining a best-in-class housekeeping team, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with hotel policies. You will conduct employee performance reviews, provide feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development. Ensuring associates have the necessary supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms is crucial. Collaboration with all hotel departments is essential for seamless communication and efficient operations throughout the resort. You will assist in staff meetings, oversee the execution of assigned projects, and complete other tasks as directed by hotel management. Maintaining knowledge of and compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, 4 Keys service standards, and safety and security procedures is required. All additional duties as assigned by management will also be part of the role.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalence required
  • Similar experience in a leadership role
  • Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
  • Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
