About The Position

We are currently looking for a Executive Housekeeper to lead our Team! Our 142 room Hampton Inn by Hilton in Marlborough is located near Apex Entertainment and many corporate offices. We’re off US 20 and I-495, ten minutes from I-90. New England Sports Center and New England Baseball Complex are three miles away. Our guests from all over the country enjoy a daily complimentary delicious breakfast. The Hampton Inn is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. This position is responsible for the operation and management of the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure maximum service quality. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel including rooms and public areas. Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management. Supervises employees in housekeeping department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Three years of experience in a housekeeping function in a hotel or similar industry.
Two years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
Computer knowledge including intranet and Property Management System.
Valid driver's license.
Acceptable driving history subject to company approval.

Responsibilities

Operate and manage the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure maximum service quality.
Ensure the overall cleanliness of the hotel, including rooms and public areas.
Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
Supervise employees in the housekeeping department, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Conduct interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, rewarding, and disciplining of employees.
Plan, assign, and direct work.
Address complaints and resolve problems.
