The Executive Head Housekeeper is responsible for supervising housekeeping and laundry staff, including hiring, firing, performance evaluations, training, and development. This role also involves assisting the General Manager with the department's annual budget, monitoring performance against the plan, and enforcing policies and procedures. The Executive Head Housekeeper will maintain room quality and cleanliness standards in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas. They will also compile and report room status to the front office, manage lost and found procedures, and ensure the security of on-loan equipment. Additionally, this position is responsible for meeting productivity and labor cost goals, establishing cost control systems for staffing, linen inventories, and cleaning supplies, conducting inventories, and ordering/receiving supplies. A key aspect of the role is ensuring quality services are rendered to meet guest needs and enhance guest relations. Other duties as assigned.
