About The Position
Bethany Communities is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Executive Director to lead Nichols Village, a retirement community committed to compassion, dignity, and excellence. This position serves as the senior on-site leader, overseeing daily operations, resident experience, staff leadership, and financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Management, or related field preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in senior living, property management, or similar setting
- Proven supervisory and team leadership skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management or senior living software
Nice To Haves
- Prior Executive Director experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the retirement community
- Lead and support department teams including marketing, wellness, dining, maintenance/housekeeping, and community life
- Oversee marketing and admissions to maintain strong occupancy and waitlist levels
- Ensure high-quality resident experience through responsive communication and conflict resolution
- Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and prepare reports for senior leadership and the Board
- Participate in Board, finance committee, and resident council meetings
- Ensure facilities are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with applicable standards
- Serve as on-call leadership support for emergencies as needed
