About The Position

The Executive Director will lead the startup, development, and operations of Trinity Health PACE programs in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana. The position is based onsite in Baton Rouge, with regular weekly travel to Lafayette, and reports to the corporate office in Michigan. This is not a remote position. Mileage reimbursement is provided. The role oversees planning, administration, personnel, and service delivery across primary care, provider networks, 24-hour care, therapeutic services, home care, transportation, and quality assurance. The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring financial viability and growth, building strong business relationships, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and advocating for PACE policies. Trinity Health PACE provides comprehensive, interdisciplinary care that enables eligible seniors to live independently at home. The Executive Director is expected to embody the organization's mission, vision, values, and guiding behaviors while leading staff, operations, quality and safety initiatives, and strategic development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Five years of experience providing direct patient care or equivalent experience in a related field.
Seven years of direct supervisory experience, preferably in progressive leadership roles.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements, and understanding of the healthcare environment and applicable laws and regulations.
Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
Expertise in systems thinking, change leadership, shared governance, and financial management.
Superior collaboration, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage conflict, adapt to change, and remain customer focused.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred.
Previous PACE experience strongly preferred.
At least one year of experience working with the frail elder population in home care, hospice, community care, and/or long-term care management strongly preferred.

Lead and support system-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
Regularly update senior leaders, medical staff, and stakeholders on key achievements and concerns.
