About The Position

In this role, you will be the CEO of the assisted living/memory care community, driving comprehensive business results. This includes ensuring excellent resident care, training and development of team members, appropriate staffing, budget adherence, and occupancy alignment with company goals. You will run the community as if it were your own business, with support from the company to help you achieve these goals. Requirements

  • Appropriate certification or license by state regulations to run an assisted living/memory care/residential care facility.
  • An Associate's Degree.
  • A minimum of two years working in geriatrics or three years in a management position.
  • Experience with budgeting, staff development, training, and scheduling.
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve in both resident care and employee management situations.
  • Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Additional coursework in management are an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect supervision of the community operation, including training, coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations of all staff members.
  • Ensure nursing services meet resident needs according to developed service plans and comply with state codes and company policies.
  • Ensure census expectations are met and resident admission process documentation is completed timely and in accordance with policy.
  • Oversee the recruitment and retention of qualified staff, ensuring background checks, reference checks, and licenses are cleared before employees begin working.
  • Motivate employees through staff appreciation, recognition, and incentive programs.
  • Promote positive employee relations, address concerns timely, and resolve grievances as quickly as reasonably possible.
  • Oversee the community budget, providing guidance and training to department heads on budget maintenance.
  • Monitor community operations regularly and prepare quality review audits and monthly variance reports.
