About The Position

Allegro Parkland, a premier senior living community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead its flagship community in Parkland, Florida. This is a high-impact leadership role for a tenured senior living professional who knows how to drive performance, build culture, and deliver an exceptional resident experience across a full continuum of care. The Executive Director will provide visionary leadership and day-to-day operational oversight, drive census growth and occupancy strategy, ensure regulatory compliance and quality of care, build strong community relationships, and oversee financial performance. The role requires flexibility for after-hours, holiday, and weekend needs. The primary responsibility is the overall success of the Community, encompassing all phases of operation, general administration, resident care, resident and associate satisfaction, sales & marketing, protection of physical assets, capital improvement, and achievement of financial goals and KPIs. Ongoing communication with all associates is critical for maintaining excellent service quality, high occupancy, and high resident and associate satisfaction.

Requirements

Active Florida CORE License (Executive Director License) — required
Proven, tenured experience as a senior living Executive Director — with demonstrated stability and a strong track record of results
Experience leading IL, AL, and Memory Care operations is required
Experience leading large teams across a multi-level care environment
Strong track record of census growth, team development, and regulatory compliance
Financial acumen and experience managing community budgets at scale
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills
A genuine passion for seniors and an unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional quality of life
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Minimum associates degree or equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years experience in assisted living, memory care, and/or skilled nursing management if a Community with assisted living/memory care.
For an independent living Community, minimum three (3) years experience in retirement community management.
Must have proven supervisory experience.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

Four (4) year college degree preferred.
Licensed nurse is a plus if the Community has assisted living.
Previous experience in sales and marketing highly desired.

Responsibilities

Provide visionary leadership and day-to-day operational oversight across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
Drive census growth, occupancy strategy, and community reputation in the greater Parkland/South Florida market.
Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing leadership team and large associate workforce.
Ensure regulatory compliance, quality of care, and resident satisfaction at the highest level.
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, referral partners, and the broader community.
Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and operational efficiency across a full multi-level care operation.
Serve as the face of Allegro Parkland — a visible, engaged, and respected community leader.
Be flexible and available for after-hours, holiday, and weekend needs as the community demands.
Manage, educate, and develop all associates under direct and indirect supervision.
Focus on financial objectives through budgeting, analytical tracking of trends, rate optimization, and intervention with teams that need support to achieve desired results.
Direct the recruiting, hiring, and training of all Community personnel as well as motivating, supervising, and evaluating personnel.
Establish both individual and team reward programs and continue to monitor associate satisfaction.
Ensure Community complies with all State/Federal/City/County requirements and regulations.
